Server monitoring tools are always a good idea for competitions like this with the exception of how hard it is to pull them off. Overall, I like the idea and the service idea sounds exciting but I encountered many problems whilst trying to use the application. Namely:
1. It may have been a language thing (Only speaking english and using machine translations), but I found it hard to find out where to get started. When I did eventually sign up with twitter, I was greeted by a sign up error telling me my email was missing. Submitting the resultant form with an actual email gave me an error page. Going back and trying to log in again it appears second time lucky.
2. Actually adding services to monitor was really, incredibly painful from workflow point of view. For future success, I believe it's important that you work on making that flow as simple and efficient as possible - it's the key since the most common times users will use the application is when they're setting it up. Most other times, it's very likely they'll only use it when issues occur or they need to make account changes.
3. No confirmations on deletes == I accidentally removed a domain of my own (my fault really)
4. When adding a host, it appeared to show me all domains in the system, not just my own.
Overall, I think with some further work it could be useful but at the moment it's lacking a lot for myself to become a continued user. Of course, it is an area that really is begging for something new and novel - If you can crack that there is a lot of marker potential. I also really liked the touch of making it open source but I couldn't work out how to actually get to the code?
Very hard to use

It's a really good idea, guys, but really, for the most important part of your application, the admin area, you guys used a gem (made by one of you, yes, but...)?, and using the generated admin is a pain in the "eye", the same for the main site. Bad design, bad implementation, very good idea though, hope you guys have time to fix it and launch it.
I coudn't evaluate this

Hi guys, every time I click on login I got this:
1 error prohibited this user from being saved:
Email can't be blank
Just the idea...

I know this is a good idea. Unfortunately it was one of the most painful experiences I've ever had using anything on the web. The UI was so painful I just couldn't figure out how to start and I tried believe me. Im sorry guys you have to understand that a good user interface makes a whole lot of difference. It can take your idea to success or failure. Please pay attention to that when you guys do a revision of this, and I hope you do,

Really good idea.
You need to work more on communicating the message, and make it very easy to add your monitor. if you work around those ideas you will be on good track.
