Saludos.

First up, congratulations on doing the competition solo - I know how hard it can be to get anything working in that amount of time, especially when you're a solo contestant.
The application mostly worked as advertised but several things (such as the broken facebook login mentioned before, UI-related tweaks such as forms not having label tags and similar) made it hard for me to give higher marks in that regard.
I especially like the idea of anonymous polls but wish it was possible to create an anonymous poll that doesn't have public results - To me thats the one big thing lacking in that regard. Also, after creating a poll it might be useful to link to the poll urls if possible.
All of that said, I offer you the best of luck - you turned out a mostly-working application (the exception being those UI issues and facebook) in a short amount of time as a solo developer - always an achievement in it's own right. Good luck!

Simple ui, the problem i see is that i feel that something is wrong with the popups, not that is actually wrong but the color and the opacity without a close button makes me feel i made something wrong.
I think that it has good potential, and things like use a url shortener, share results on twitter or facebook, and closing the poll, or an expiration date could really give the extra features.
Thanks azendal

The idea was to have a UI very simple, I had to agree with you that the look and feel its not entirely correct, I will fix that cause I want to make an Startup of this project.
I will totally use url shortener, and I will complete integrate with Facebook, Twitter and Google+ too so you can share the poll and the results if you like.
Bugs and a congratulations

Dude!
I've noticed to that the facebook connection doesn't work.
But in the other hand I really like how fast and easy can be to create a Poll, i think that with some UI tweaks, this app, could be a great start up.
Congrats by doing this alone.
P/S: Love the video in the how-to ;).
Good tool!

Hi!
Congrats for your solo try, you got a lot of work done and I understand some buggy behavior.
Comments:
* I'd like to send the link to my email with those three url's
* Recommendation system would be good, if I'm in answer polls mode I can keep going and going :)
* I liked the idea to find polls based on my location keep working on that path
* Add ability to hide results
* Restrict polls to certain users
* Add more input types
Works well

Hi,
The app seemed to work fine on everything for me but the facebook integration. In general I think the apps works good and considering you're a one-man-team I think it is very good. There were some things I´d like to point out.
- I know you're a developer and not a designer so aesthetic-wise all I will say is that it is good enough. Creates no real friction.
- After Im logged in, I didn't find a clear way to see public polls. Its just placed at the footer really hidden which I think is not good.
- UI wise everything seems to open in a weird way covering the information. Sometimes the footer is gone and becomes inaccesible. I guess that thats what this popup thing is about, but im not sure as I am not a developer however thats a very bad UI solution.
- After I cast my vote there is no link to see the results.
- Also, very weird I think. I was assuming that the votes were not multiple selection choices. However the example polls I uploaded allowed users to select more than one of my choices which kills the whole idea of the polls. You should have caught that mistake there.
- When editing I cannot erase any of the options I entered before nor editing the name or question of the poll. Whats the editing then? Just adding more fields?
In general I think its a good app. The anonymous polls is a big plus I love that but you must look at this as what can it do to be successful. You´re missing some key features. Social integration, more field types, etc. Good work overall. Again for a single guy its really good.
Muy buena

Realmente me parece excelente para ser trabajo de una persona! Mucha suerte!
Es realmente mucho mejor (para mí) que muchas aplicaciones con varias personas participando!
Felicitaciones!

You app is like popup-based, not page-based, and there's no way to close the popups!.
Once I finished creating the poll a popup showed up with 3 URLs but any of them were actual links.
The app doesn't validates if the user didn't add any options for a question.
Facebook login doesn't work, it shows the default Rails's 404 page.
There's no way to delete a poll either before nor after being published.
When I'm logged in the "My Profile" link takes me to the "How to" section.
